He was gracious and offered his support to TM. It really looked like he was bothered about what has happened to TM and I have to believe that he is concerned. I have been a fan of CLM from the beginning and this cannot be an easy thing to oversee and do, as either a head coach or parent. I give him credit for being classy and concerned about it. I believe we are lucky to have him....so go ahead and light me up now for being a supporter of the best coach LSU has ever had.....

But he also said that the team is very talented and will be ok.

“The challenge then will be to them to see if they can step in," Miles said. "The good news is we have good players.”

I have the utmost respect for him in every facet, EXCEPT for his stubborness to change qb's or even change the three plays we ran the whole game on 1/9/12

Say what you want, Miles is a man of integrity. No way Saban or Kiffin boots him off the team.

I respectfully disagree with you on this, but that's another matter.

The fact is that Miles didn't have a choice. The university has a "3 strikes and you're out" policy, and this was TM7's last strike. He is not only off the team; he was or shortly will, be kicked out of LSU.

The Oregon Coach just got SERVERD! You think Chip Kelly does this to any of his "skill" players?

NO WAY!

Maybe so, but that doesn't mean that CLM didn't do everything he could to keep him on the team. In short, TM7 couldn't handle the fame and flamed out. Miles knows he has good players other than TM7 now and coming in. That's not the point.

No coach wants to see a player flame out like this, and especially CLM. He's hurting for TM7, not just the onfield stuff.

Les Miles, unlike the Honey Badger, does give a shite.

So the school tests the general student population and applies the same standard?

Or are you using school, athletic department, team interchangeably?

I've talked a lot of trash about Les, but never his character. I can tell it hurt him to have to stand up there and do that. Props to doing what has to be done in certain situations. He looked like he wanted to yak all over the place when he first walked up.

i do find this "fact" to be interesting. considering school is out.

i'm one to say i don't know. however, a lot of people are claiming miles had no choice the school made him do it as if it is a fact. i don't think anyone really knows.

I agree. It's TM7 who put CLM in this position to begin with. Can't fault the coach at all for this.

He sure is on a roll.A roll down the gutter and he has no one to blame but himself. If he started talking, I wouldn't believe anything he had to say.Kid has lost all respect and credibility.
