We have several cupcake games to start the season to get the young DB's ready. Also, we don't play nearly as many passing teams as we do power running teams this year.

TM was better against the run, so your point is invalid.

Washington is the second game and they have a rather potent passing attack, bro

Washington early we will be very tested. Hardly a cupcake, that defense we should throw up 40-50 on though, but that's only if we let Mett loose.

Their QB will be the best or 2nd best we face this regular season. We do out-athlete them quite a bit, specifically on the lines...but don't doubt Price will test our young secondary a ton this game.

If you look at tm7's big games last year they were usually against pass teams. Arkansas, Georgia, West Virginia. Then there is Oregon which is run but his main play was as gunner on a punt. I think Micah Eugene is more than capable at nickel back and will cause just as much disruption but maybe not as many turnovers because that was just a freak performance last year by tm7. Regardless it does hurt a lot but I think we are fine.

We will score 50+ on them, so they don't even count. I'm saying we don't play a relevant team until later in the season.

Also, our front 7 will stop the run. What we lose in TM7 is the game changing plays, which our young DB's don't have (Yet).
