I am extremely exicted about the linebackers this year. I think they are going to be bigger and better. I am mostly excited about Barrow. The guy looks very talented and strong in the big cat. I also want to see Lamar Louis and Ronnie Feist stepping to play. Those two looked good as well in the big cat. Feist put Hilliard on his arse. I'm getting pretty excited about the upgrade this year.

I thought Hatcher split time with Minter last year?
Either way, Our LB's should be much better.

He definitely looks the part. Let's hope he plays like it too.

Jones may be small but after hearing Chavis talk yesterday you can tell he is excited to have Tahj starting

Why wouldn't you use Ryan Baker in your comparison??? He was a 2-year starter, and is one of the two guys being replaced.

Tahj was our most consistent LB last year when he came in to play. We should be improved. Can't get much worse than Francois/Hatcher...

Francois and Hatcher were both converted safeties, right?

Barrow and Jones are natural LB. I would think this should bode well

he did. I think he'd have been better at Sam as was originally intended than he was at Mike.

How much playing time do you think Kwon, Feist and Lamar Louis will actually get? Do any have the potential to start later on in the season over Barrow/Jones?

The fact Chavis said he thinks this LB crew of true fresh resemble the guys like TM, Simon, and Reid three years ago has me pumped.

Being good at a big cat drill won't make anyone a great linebacker... not saying the LBs won't be good but big cat is not gonna show enuf skills

He plays like it but Jones was actually a safety in high school so he is converted.
