How do you post a picture in a thread?

I have created a Photobucket account and uploaded an image into it. Clicked on the img button and copied and pasted the URL. When I click preview all it shows is the little blue box. What am I missing?

Click the Direct link in photobucket (NSFWish warning)
then click img tab and paste it into the space.
Then hit submit.

Thanks everybody. I think I've got it figured out. Imgur does seem easier to use.

You do not need Imgur or Photobucket or whatever the frick anyone else uses.
Just go to google images, click on the picture you want, right click the picture, choose "properties", copy the URL, paste the URL into "img" (which is on TD to the left of the emoticions), and press ok.

Well, photobucket works fine for me on iphone, ipad, and laptop.
I'll give imagur a look sometime.

Occasionally a pic posted this way will disappear due to bandwidth issues. Imgur ensures that doesn't happen.
There is an Imgur extension for Firefox that lets you one click the pic to upload it.
