What position do you think presents the deepest depth for LSU?

Offense - RB, no question there.

Defense - Safety (Reid, Loston, Martin, the RS freshmen, HB)

RB, DL and OL

LB could be really deep but I wont label it until we see the new ones play.

WR could be looked at as deep with the ability to put 5 on the field.

DE--Mingo, Montgommery, Edwards, Rasco, Allen, Maclin, CA

I don't, however, think DT depth is a strength tight now. Its actually a concern coming into the fall imo.

This is true. At DT all you can count on as of right now is Logan/Freak/Downs...

Ego has shown signs of being a quality player but has not fully proven himself. Behind him is Mickey and Q.Thomas who are not ready.

5 RBs with TDs in 2011 return, plus one bad mofo in Jeremy Hill coming in, PLUS any even badder mofo JC Copeland back at fullback.

RB on offense easily.

Our DL returns players with a combined 24 sacks from last year (namely Montgomery with 9 and Mingo with 8). Every one of our 2-deep DL depth chart is starter-quality.

DL on defense.

RB -- by a mile.

DE this year. But losing it all.

OL -- Holla solid

DT = not very much depth at all.

DBs - vulnerable

Depth is wonderful everywhere but corner.

Depth at corner is scary.

RB and DL is where I think we have the most depth. LB could be really good soon once they get the experience. Don't sleep on the WRs either.

I think Dwayne Thomas is a freshman corner that I think could step up if Simon, Mathieu, or Collins goes down. Jalen Mills and Derrick Raymond will be good in the future.
