I am looking to get a new set of clubs. I found my last 2 drivers by going to demo days, as well as my last set of irons

I believe the event was at oak harbor. I also went to one a couple years ago at the TPC

I just find it the easiest way to get out their and try all the major brands and all of the different types of clubs and shafts they offer

However, I am having trouble finding an actually demo day as of recent...Does anyone know of any coming up within 2 hours of new orleans?

They're typically when new equipment is released. Doubt you'll see many right now.

It seems like I was going to at least one a year at one point just to try stuff out, but that was 10 or so years ago

Most demo days are for one brand only

It would be rare for you to get to try different brands on the same day from my limited experiences

a few years ago, the Lafayette Golf Academy hosted one for a couple years, and they had several brands out there. That is where I found my driver, and I had actually found a set of irons i liked. But I couldn't afford a new set. But I did end up getting a driver off ebay from what I tested at the range. They haven't had one since. The only one I stumbled on was at Oakborn which is a private course. Sad Lafayette doesn't have one at least once a year.

Most demo days are in the spring and early summer. Watts had one with most brands.
