I don't think this is necessarily true. I think PSU decided at the last minute to actually send a contingent to media days. I know Mauti is one of the kids going. I don't that Redd was even a candidate to go.

So USC can go after him, even while on probation? I thought someone tweeted that they could not take advantage of the counting against the scholarship clause.

Oh shut up. You don't even know if kiffin reached out to the kid, and if he did, so what? A lot of these kids are gonna be leaving, so it's smart for coaches to get a head start and see if any of them have interest in their schools.

As long as we don't go over 75 players. With the commitment of DE Jason Hatcher tomorrow and, potentially, Redd moving out West, we would be at 75 players.

After a week of "Silas Redd probably going to USC" talk, Silas Redd finally going to USC wouldn't qualify as "interesting news," at least to me.
