Cajun Pawn Stars re:Thompson Gun

The owner of the pawn shop was trying to buy a functional Thompson gun and offered the guy $50k, which he turned down. Are the originals that valuable?

He also bought a WWI periscope trench gun the scene earlier for $50k. That was pretty cool

FWIW, those shows are 100% staged. A knock off pawn stars show filmed out of New Orleans called my buddy b/c he was selling a gun on Ebay. They told him to bring that gun in and they would add him in the show. They told him exactly how much they would offer, what he would counter with, and eventually to say no to the deal.

Ive seen them somewhere for north of 20k, so 50 doesn't seem unreasonable for one with some history to it.

Hell I think a real colt M16 is more than 15k. Full autos are not cheap.

You could find some on gunsamerica.com and compare if you'd like.

No, he didnt buy a trench gun for 50k. Everything on that show is completely staged. I know the guy with the trench gun.
