Per Shea. He plans to see a game with his family and go from there. Not a free article so I won't go into details

Is he just making the family trip an official to save some money?

Didn't mean to mislead. It was a very positive article with regards to how he feels about LSU. Nothing to worry about.

Even if Willis was coming here, they would take both of them

I wonder if LSU asked him to wait longer.

I don't think so. It may be the same thing with Priest Willis in that it would be too expensive for he and his family to get out here on an unofficial visit

Everyone here often forgets how expensive it can be to travel with an entire family for something like this. When it's either pay your way or get everything paid for, most would choose the latter.

i think that's smart. i'd rather him be sure than reconsider later. no to mention lsu's game day atmosphere is the best hands down.

Also Les usually wants this too. He wanted the parents of Malone and Patterson to visit before taking commitments. Better than the kid committing and then having the family not want the kid there.

He should try to make an official for the Washington game on 9/08/12 and commit Sunday morning afterwards. Heck the guys at TJ Ribs could probably set up a televised announcement. He can try to come back by himself for all of the fun of Nov. 3rd.

You might be right. It might be slow here for awhile. I figured we would be getting some commits after we got the alabama flip.

I still think we are/have but apparently they are silent commits. I bet only 1 or two spots is still up in the air.
