Mingo - obviously he is great, but to go back and watch again, the guy is just so fast.

Tharold Simon - great ball skills. Made a bunch of great plays on the ball high in the air. Our next great corner, IMO.

Alfred Blue - I think he is going to really break out this year. Runs hard and fast.

Bennie Logan - all over the field. He will be known by everyone.

Rasco - I expect great things from him. He was a difference maker when he was in the game.

My thinking was clouded by the BCS game. That was a GREAT team last year. Super fast, big, and strong. They just punished other teams. I watched all or parts of the Georgia, Arkansas, Oregon, West Virginia, and Auburn games. The defense that is returning will be special. I don't see this team losing to anyone.

I've been a fan. Never stopped. It was just easy to let that one game affect how you saw the season. The team was dominant and will be again.

I'm anxious to see what Jalen Collins, Loston, Jarvis Landry and Rasco do. Their contributions will determine how far we go.

For anyone that has time on their hands: watch the Auburn game from last year. The full game is on YouTube. That game was definitely our best game of last season.

Watching kickoffs from the second half alone will get you pumped for this upcoming season.

I agree. I just cant see anyone beating this team. The scary thing is that there are very few Seniors on the team!

We are blessed to have the talent at so many positions. Your list is a good one, but I'm also interested to see Sam M. do his thing. It's going to be a great year again. We are fortunate. There are approximately 118 other schools that would love to be where LSU is right now.

you got that right. I am amazed at what our fans find to complain about sometimes. I'm excited about this year, just like last year.

The MNC was tough and I must admit I was not a happy camper at such poor play after what we witnessed all year. But I bleed purple and gold, what can I say?

That team was bad arse last year. Too bad that they laid an egg and tainted what was otherwise a great season. I can't wait to get this season started and erase the bad taste out of my mouth.

Getting my tickets for the season opener and traveling to B.R. For North Texas, can't wait !

Anymore, it doesn't matter if they are seniors or juniors, we're going to lose them to the draft; so having a junior is just like having a senior. Could be worse; could be baseball! Geaux!

Bennie Logan's the #1 player to watch for me. I mean, the talents of Mingo and Montgomery are well known, but I think Logan has a chance to be just as good at DT as M&M are at DE (if he's not already).

That's pretty much the perfect way to describe him.

Yeah, I didn't list guys like Montgomery, Mathieu, Mettenberger, Ford, Beckham, etc. because they have been talked about ad nauseum. Mingo has too, but he is better than I remember. The man is unreal.

I listed some guys who I think will really break out - like, big-time star break out and be even better than we remember last year. Yeah, Mingo is already there, but as I watched games, I just could not believe his speed off the edge.

When I watch the game live, I'm all caught up in the emotion of it. Last night, I had some time to kill so I just watched games on You Tube. The big games are all there. I would encourage you to do it to get a feel for this team and to forget about 1/9.

Also, not to stir up a hornet's nest, but Jefferson looked really good in that Arkansas game. I can see why Miles thought he would break out in the next 2 games. Of course he didn't, but it isn't like he didn't have the ability. The man was just a head case who wilted under pressure.

Also, coming back against Arkansas and Georgia the way we did through special teams and defense is what did us in against Alabama - that, and the fact that we won the first game. I think it made the coaching staff complacent because they kept thinking that something would happen and we would get a spark and make a play and get back in the game. They didn't make changes to force the issue. Of course, if JJ had completed those 2-3 passes that would have been touchdowns in the second half, suddenly, we are either within one score in the fourth quarter or we are in the lead. Even though we got dominated, we still had the potential to get back in the game if we would have executed. All blame can be laid at JJ's feet, in my opinion, but he dropped the ball - literally. The coaches should have seen it, but did not and so it goes.

But, that was a GREAT football team who just destroyed their other opponents. Hopefully, this year we will have an offense that causes us to be more balanced so we can be even better.

Yep, Minter was all over the place in the film as well. I should have added him.

We will not miss Karnell Hatcher or Stephon Francois, though. They did not do too much, from what I could tell.

I think for me its gotta be Kenny Hilliard. Dude didn't get hardly any PT until Ware got suspended and then was an absolute animal. Tied for the team lead in TDs with 8 with 1/2 the carries of Ford and 1/3 the carries of Ware. Dude is a major force to reckoned with anywhere inside in the red zone. I think he will see very significant PT early this season and I'm looking forward to seeing him run over defenders.

"Freak Not on a Leash" is my #1 choice for excitment.

With M & M on the edges and Logan doing his thing....I can't wait to see Freak unleashed.

Watch him on these replays/rebroadcasts.
