i was going to call you a homer, but then i really thought about it...

i could see Bama or Arkansas in the #1 spot, but they have question marks too.

Bama has young RBs but a great OL. No wide recievers, but a good QB.

Arkansas has a great QB, but depth is always a problem for them.

i have to see Mett and our receivers at work before i could give them #1 though.

You do know that A&M lost everything remotely decent on offense, and that GA has the same offense that managed 10 pts against LSU last year. Right?

No way we should be number one. We scored most of our points last year because our defense and special teams gave us short fields. Based on potential we could be number two behind Arkansas but realistically we are lower. We may have the best running game and should be able to set up the pass better than last year, but we have to actually see how Mett does against SEC defenses. The talent is there but we need to see the decision making when the game is on the line. Assuredly we will have more passing touchdowns but I would be willing to bet more int's as well. Still we should be much better than last year but we looked inept at times last year.

Yeah you're right about A&M, but Georgia still has Murray and that freshman wr from last year. I think it will be easy than expected to replace Crowell and besides Bama, no other team had a secondary like ours last year.

Mizzu had their QB go for almost 3k last year in the air and almost 1k on the ground with 36 total TDs(even though the shoulder injury could hinder him a bit) and 4 RBs totaling another 2100yd

Vandy may surprise a few this year, but I could see LSU at 3-4 now with Bama at 5.
