This is about 30 minutes from where I live. Saw it on the local news channel's website.

News Story

quote:

Reports claim Fairley was going the wrong way for miles, as unsuspecting drivers ran off the road to avoid being hit. "He's going to hurt someone severely bad," said a voice on the video. As Fairley picks up speed he collides with a Ford SUV right in his path. The driver of the SUV, Amy Cox of Waveland and a young female passenger both walked away from the crash. Fairley was taken to the hospital with a broken shoulder and non-life threatening injuries.

What was the result of the crash? Was everyone ok? Did the driver say what the eff he was doing?

jeez. that would be tough to watch without being able to do anything. I am willing to bet the non-moron driver will be fine though. Looked as though the drivers side was fine and the airbags were deployed and no body flew out. Gonna be hurt though.

Scary. I know exactly where that happened. Hwy 49 didn't need any more reason to be a dangerous roadway.

Wow, so sad. I hope there were no fatalities. Will be interesting to find out why someone was driving the wrong way on the hwy.

How did no one fly out if literally 2 seconds after the crash there were people in the median?

Sorry, added to OP. No one was seriously hurt. Driver going the wrong way broke his shoulder. Two people in other car walked away unscathed, luckily!
