I know preseason rankings are "preseason rankings" (I wonder if that will get quoted 10 times), but LSU is getting lots of love in the SEC player/ position rankings:

#1 Defensive Tackle- Bennie Logan LSU

#1 & #3 Defensive End- Sam Montgomery & Barkevious Mingo LSU

#1 & #4 Cornerbacks- Tyrann Mathieu & Tharold Simon LSU

#1 Safety- Eric Reid LSU

#6 & #7 Runningbacks- Spencer Ware & Michael Ford LSU

LINK

*There were others ranked, but these were most notable.

As for the running backs.......

Just my Opinion but I think Blue is better than both and Jerremy Hill may turn out to be the most talented of them all.

Hill has a great skill set, but I still don't know if he has that killer instinct mentality. I was very average on him in HS because he seemed to shy away from contact a lot. However, the kid has been through a ton and has probably made him a lot stronger for it.

We need to all settle the frick down and stop waiting on the opinion of some ESPN arse clown who uses an arbitrary system of evaluating "rankings."

I get that sharing info like this is the whole point of the Rant and I'm in here too, but all these quotes from one ESPN assclown disrespecting and another praising is absurd.

Ghostfacedistiller- you probably yell at the neighbor when his dog pee's on the grass area between the the street and the sidewalk. Calm down, your opinion isn't that important. It's the "RANT"

Not saying Bama won't be a good football team, but as far as repeating National Champion, they lost an awfully lot of big pieces that are pretty tough to replace.

a great baseless statement. what are you basing this on, practice reports? he may be good, he may not be. let him prove it on the field ala russell shepard.

Gonna be a lot of stunned people when Blue is the starter this year. Although all RBs will get carries, Blue is going to blew the frick up this year.
