Don't look now but we actually addressed some weaknesses from last year too....

and Brees signing today just reminded my that we're stacked at LB and d-line. Need some one to step up in the secondary and this team might be simply dominant.

Im going to simply saay......no. be realistic. We are going to have huge gaps in the coaching staff. But we are still a good solid 10 win team simply because of brees

Not as big as you think. Spags will control all aspects of the D. Carmichael actually did really well calling plays last year while SP was hurt. Some games Payton didn't even have a head set on the whole time.

Linebackers depht is drastically improved. There is no denying that. This will help the overall defense tremendously. Saints record 14-2 / 13-3.

Plus when Vitt comes back - he's the MAN!
He's a hardass, but he's also a players' coach.
He knows every nook and cranny of the organization and his enthusiasm and get-the-job-done positive attitude is priceless. Love to listen to the man talk.
Spags and Carmichael can concentrate even moe when Vitt comes back.
