Star Wars: Jedi Knight Academy (Steam Sale)

For those of you who haven't tried this game, I highly recommend giving it a shot, especially if you like Star Wars and light saber combat. The game is currently $5.99 on Steam as part the summer sale, and it is worth every penny.
I have been playing this game off an on for about 8 years now. It is built on the quake 3 engine, so those of you who played similar games will understand most of it right away. There's is still a very active community and, since the game has come to steam in 2009, new players are showing up all the time. I'm currently helping run one of the more active clans. We have over 30 members and hold weekly events such as team battles and 1 on 1 saber tournaments.
Here are 2 links to some videos from our clan if you're interested in seeing the game play:
(note: you may see some Spanish on here since the person who did the recording is from Argentina, however, we all speak English).
I also recommend turning your sound off since the music is terrible. That is not the game's music.
This first link is a tournament final match between two of our best players. First player to frag the other one 3 times, wins. We only do saber combat, so you will not see any traditional force powers outside of the high jump.

I used to play this with my friends for hours on end back in the day. Might have to pick it up for nostalgia purposes

Yeah my brother got me into it around my freshman year at LSU. Needless to say, I struggled that year

I'd played the hell out of some Jedi Outcast a long time ago. Might have to pick JKA up.

If you guys need help getting set up or have any questions, let me know. I've been around for a long time in this game.
Just to give you guys a heads up, the majority of servers use the JA+ mod, which improves game play and gives some cool custom options such as RGB sliders for custom hilts. It's veryneasynto install, just read the READ ME that comes with the client download. Don't download the server version, get the client one.

Also check out jk3 files if you want to download custom skins or hilts. Keep in mind you can only see this models. Another player would also need the files to see your custom skin.
