I'm not sure. I don't remember that reference. I'm trying to remember the time difference between that comic strip and when he married ChiChi. There were 3 World Martial Arts Tournaments, the champions being Jacki Chun, Tien, and then Goku.
There are three years in between each tournament, so that is at least 6 years. But I think there would have been at least a year between that comic strip and the first tournament. That would be 7 years. Goku should be 21 at least when he marries Chi Chi. I guess 20 is possible.
ETA: I don't know. I'm confusing myself. I need to see this stuff on a timeline to get perspective. I looked up the timeline on the dragonball wiki, and it directly contradicts that comic strip. According to it, Goku is 4 years younger than Bulma.

what are the odds of them doing a full new saga after these movies? battle of the gods was highly successful. if the next one is just as popular, will they make a new saga?
