1 profile, 2 xboxes?

I want to get another xbox for my other living room. So can i have 1 profile for 2 xboxes?

Put your gamertag on a memory card and just plug it into whichever system you're playing on.
eta: I'm 99% sure you can even just use a USB flash drive.

I just looked it up and I believe you can have just the 1 account, but they can't be signed on at the same time. When my account was compromised, while I was logged on, I got disconnected with a message "this account has been logged on from another console".

That happened to me a long time ago because I traded in my original Xbox with my gamertag still on it.

This is correct. I have two Xboxes and have both my accounts on both boxes but I can't sign into the same account on both Xboxes at the same time.

Recently it has been changed. You can have it on as many xboxes as you want you just can't be signed in two places at once
Just recover gamer tag on the Xbox and click that you don't want to have the password everytime or whatever.
It's very very easy to do so don't stress about that. After the first time you recover the GT you just need to sign in from then on. I have mine on two xboxs

It used to be a lot bigger pain in the arse. You would have to recover the gamertag every time you wanted to use it on a different xbox than the last one you last used it on.
