Advanced to Week 1. We will advance to Week 2 Tuesday at noon ET or earlier if everyone is ready.

Last year, we had a very active online dynasty that went 10+ seasons. I look forward to another very active year competing against new competition, as well as continuing rivalries from last year. If you love NCAA Football, and you are an active player who enjoys friendly competition, this dynasty may be for you. If you do not plan on playing for more than a couple of weeks, or you aren't sure you'll be able to play a few games a week, this dynasty is not for you. If you are unable to treat other players with respect, this dynasty is not for you. You do not have to be a pro to join this dynasty. Players of all skill levels are welcome as long as you can be respectful and keep up.
Everyone must choose a SEC team. The most active members from last year got first dibs on teams. Don't feel discouraged if you start with a crappy team. You will have plenty of time to build them up, but players will also be given the option of switching teams if spots open up. We will begin as soon as OperationSports.com finishes their roster. I plan to advance 3 to 4 times a week. I will be making announcements and updates about advances or delays to normal advances in this thread. Make sure you check this thread every day or two. You may want to bookmark it. Feel free to talk trash or discuss user games in this thread.
Everyone is responsible to check the thread for updates. If someone doesn't play their game and doesn't let me know they will be unresponsive either via an Xbox Live message or this thread, they will be put on auto-pilot so the dynasty doesn't stall. If they are still unresponsive the next in-game week, they will be booted, and a replacement will be given the opportunity to take over. If someone needs an extra day, and they let me know in time, I will not advance without them. If they are going to be gone for an extended amount of time, they will be put on auto-pilot so the dynasty does not get held up.
DYNASTY GUIDELINES
Normally, we will advance every other day. Every time I advance, I will update the OP and post a message in this thread with the day and time of the next advance. If you are having trouble getting in touch with your opponent for a user game, let me know as soon as possible. Please don't wait until we're about to advance.
No "cheese". If you think someone is using "cheese", talk to them about it in a tactful manner. If you believe it persists, let me know, and I'll talk to them. If you have any questions about whether something is considered "cheese", you can ask in this thread, or discuss it with other members of the dynasty over Xbox Live.
No restarts are allowed.
All-American difficulty
Probably 6 minute quarters, but if scores start sky-rocketing, we may lower it a bit.
Recruiting is cutthroat. Don't expect someone to stop recruiting a player just because they filled their need. Depth is important, too. Each player should recruit to make their team as good as possible without worrying about other's needs. If you want to discuss recruits before the season so you don't go after the same guys, that is fine, but no one should let themselves be pressured into making an agreement they don't want to make.
If you read this much and still want to join  , post your gamertag and the available team you want. The rest of the teams are first come, first serve. Several people always quit in the first few weeks, so even if you start with a crappy team, you will be given the option of switching teams. If we fill up, you can still post your gamertag if you want to fill empty spots after active players are given the option of switching teams. Reserves will be put in order so if you are the first reserve, you will be next in line.

As soon as OperationSports.com releases their roster. Usually, that happens within 4 or 5 days of release, IIRC.

If you can keep up, you'll definitely have a lot of fun and make some friends, and I look forward to playing you.
However, having said that, if you don't think you'll be able to play an in-game week every other day please don't join. Sure, someone will be able to take your place if you drop out, but it robs them of the chance to play from the beginning and could mess up their recruiting. If you miss a game occasionally, it's definitely not a big deal, but if you think it might happen a lot, there might be a better dynasty for you.

I've only been in dynasties that advance twice/week. I'm sure 3/week won't be too tough to adjust to. Especially so since I no longer have any obligations outside of work.
