What happens when pitchers go over the limit

So the guy I am playing today pitched his max 8 starting pitchers for the week yesterday. He had 3 starters for today and they all pitched great, which sucks for him because he did a terrible job managing.
However, he also had 3 relievers pitch. Do those stats count or since he pitched his max limit, all his pitching stats are done for the day?
I will win if this is correct. If not, I will probably lose.

Depends on the league rules. Your commish probably knows that answer better than we do.
