A quote from the late Justin Wilson

"I wanna told ya something, the most rabid fan the most devoted fan, the most devot, most hydrophobic football fan in the world! Is a Louisiana Cajun lives on the Mississippi river between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, and the bayous of south Louisiana, who follow the tigers of L U S in Baton Rouge! They believe in those tigers so much they bet on the replay I guarantee!"
Some of you old timers may remember the Cajun cooker

My late father-in-law was a friend of Justin, back in the late 60's they would meet at Ardillo's and down a few. I don't believe Justin was even cajun or not a full bleed.

I loved watching his show when he was still alive. Especially when he added wine to something.
"Now you add a little bit of wine to this sauce. Mais I like to add a lot though"
Then at the end of the show, he always sat down at the table with his food and there was a big ole pitcher of Miller Lite strategically placed on the table.

My sister interned at PBS in college and worked on his show. Said he was a crusty old asshat who treated everyone poorly. And I hate to break it to everyone but he was originally from Minnesota or somewhere up north. The whole thing was an act.

Some of it was a act but he was born in Roseland and lived in south Louisiana most of his life.

Loved Justin Wilson, but the entire state of Louisiana loves LSU, period.
