Real excited. Haven't been to a Saints game since 2005. I don't mean road game; I mean GAME.
Anyone been to Mile High yet? Any good stories/suggestions?
I don't have tickets yet; still trying to figure out the best place to get them.

I'll see you there. I live out west and try to get to the NFC or AFC West road games when I can. (The 2010 Seattle playoff game was miserably painful). At any rate, it's going to be fun. I've never been to Mile High either but I'll be there whodating it up with you.

I just got stationed up here in Colorado Springs. I was seriously thinking about going to the game and wanted to see if there was any other displaced Who Dat fans who would be interested. Email me if you are going.

I've only been to one game and it was years ago, but it's a cool stadium with terrific fans. It will be an awesome atmosphere if Manning can stay healthy.
If you end up making the trip you won't regret it, Denver is a great city.

It's fun I went last game and may go this time as well.
Denver is a little more phony downtown than I expected (tons of chains, etc) so I'm looking forward to exploring more "authentic" areas in and around downtown Denver this go-round.
There was a badass cabaret that had young tatted up topless girls (HOT - like 8's and 9's) yet was an upscale club (legit young couples there on a Saturday night, NOT a strip club). I haven't seen anything like that in America and really wish New Orleans would get a place of that ilk.

Tickets were about $300. Not too bad.

Holy cow - I hope you got great seats. I'm definitely waiting in hopes that they start poorly and their prices go down.
Denver has the hardest early schedule in the NFL so I could easily see them having a .500 record or worse by the time our game comes up.
Pittsburgh (SNF)
@ Atlanta (MNF)
@ Houston
Oakland
@ New England
@ San Diego
BYE
New Orleans
Denver could definitely lose 4 of those games and be sitting at 2-4. Ticket prices would nosedive.

Nah, I was talking about plane tickets. I'm going for around $200 price range.

Trust me - WAIT on the game tickets. With Ticket Exchange you're never in jeopardy of not having any. I always wait until the night before the game and wind up sitting 40 yard line behind Saints bench for like $100. It's
All those rich people with great season tickets down there - sometimes they decide on Saturday afternoon "meh I'll just watch it on TV - the kids are in town for the weekend and let's put them on the old ticket exchange".

2 friends and I will be there too. Plan on getting everything in the books this weekend outside of game tickets. Where is everyone planning on staying?

I've been to a couple games at Mile High last season. Work has me right outside of Denver so Im pretty familiar with the scene. I also have purchased my tickets online an cant wait to attend with my whodat gear! Awesome stadium, pretty much any view in the house is a good one, I've even sat 4 rows from the the top an still enjoyed the view an could see everything pretty well. Places to stay: you should DEFINITELY Priceline a hotel for the weekend. Trust me, I come to Denver about every other weekend and do it everytime. Say u want a 4 star hotel in downtown Denver, bid $70/night an u should get it. Hyatt Regency is the best in my opinion, awesome view of city on the 27th floor bar. The Grand Hyatt is also very nice too..these are regularly $220/night hotels but they participate in Priceline. Trust me, do it. Bottom line is you're going to get a 4 star hotel in the downtown Denver area so who really cares what the name of the place is, they're ALL awesome! Also, when u head to the game, stop an check out a bar named "Brooklyn's". It's right near the stadium (walking distance) and is all LSU, you'll feel right at home! Hope this helps!

I stayed 5 nights at the Curtis Hotel downtown last week and loved the place. I was hitting the bike trails along the Cherry Creek and Platte like crazy. It wouldn't be too far at all from the stadium I wouldn't think.
I loved the area down by Coors Field where the breweries and alot of pubs were.

Isn't this the boutique hotel kinda close to that metro station? Every floor has a theme or something?
If so, I stayed there after the last Saints game (got a steal on Hotwire as previous poster noted).
Also stayed a night in the Hyatt I think and it was the tits (like $60 for a 4 star hotel).

That's it. It is owned by Double Tree. I got a great rate too.
The bar/restaurant attached to the hotel has a pretty damn good happy hour too.

I'm glad to see that people are making the trip to Denver. Me & my tailgating crew are going also. Trying to nail down all of the arrangements before the preseason starts.
The only question I have is how to go about getting 8-10 seats together. I'm thing we will have to split the group up b/c I don't think it will be easy to get that many together on StubHub/Ticket Exchange.
EDIT: Actually found decent priced seats for groups of 8+. Just need to find some that aren't at the top of the stadium.

Seriously, when this game gets closer I would like to try and link up with other Who Dat fans in Denver. I also agree that tickets closer to the game will be cheaper, but then again it will also be a SNF game and will be a sell out regardless of the Broncos' record.

Lucky... I live out here and so far have not found any tickets without paying an arm and a leg. Went to the game here 3 years ago. Lots of Saints fans here, relatively speaking. Going to be an awesome time.
