Another reason we missed Sturridge - for how many times we sent in crosses, there was rarely more than 1 person in the box, if that. He at least knows how to make himself a threat to help open spaces.

I know that's what you believe but I just disagree. Poor marking on their first chance after 70 minutes, and Agger giving the inside of his body to the attacker on a break. That's a mental lapse. West Brom did nothing to earn either goal in my opinion. They may have deserved a draw from terrific defense, but I just can't see how they earned that win.

They played us to perfection. Is there ever a match when the other team deserved to win then in your opinion? Very rarely do goals happen where the defense isn't at fault for doing something wrong.
WBA exploited our attacking numbers and pathetic set piece defense. LFC not being good at defending set pieces != LFC beating itself.

Yeah I guess. Its just hard for me to wrap my mind around exploitation of mental lapses. There are plenty of times you lose because of a change in tactics or personnel, but when the other teams strategy is to rely on a basic mental frick up its harder for me to believe they earned it. These are elementary principles of defending you learn in U12 and these guys are doing it every week. That tells me that at least part of it is us handing them their advantages.
That plays much less so in the second goal, but at least Agger would've given him a tighter angle and less daylight to find the face.

What the frick is going on? I'm trying to find an explanation for what's happening.

Cliffnotes for those sitting at a desk and not watching?

Suarez just had his worst 45 I've ever seen
Posted on 2/14/13 at 11:57 am to LSUSOBEAST1
Saying he's been awful would be a compliment at this point.

Can't believe we are down 2-0 to a team that hasn't played a match since December
Posted on 2/14/13 at 12:34 pm to tsmi136
I heard they've played something like 11 friendlies in the last 2 months but yeah no real matches.

An away goal would be the only positive to take from this match
Posted on 2/14/13 at 12:42 pm to tsmi136
Suarez needs a break or something. He's been shite the last couple of games.

Agreed. We've given up 11 goals in the past 5 games now. We better have our sights on a defender in the summer.

The only positive: Carra's still got it.
Just a shame to see a legend like that go out without a trophy. I really wanted Europa for him.

Same here but I wish we had the money to go out and get Hummels, Eriksen, Jovetic, LB and maybe Ince or some other wide player
