yeah, I wondered whether we should have rested/rotated him out a month or so ago when he was lagging some, then he scored a brace. he's got to be in our side. neither poldi nor rosicky deserves to start over him. i think we should slide Theo over to CF, give Ox a shot out on the right, replace Sagna and keep everything else the same as today.

The problem is all of our best players occupy the same space and role if played in their best spots.
Rosicky is just the bees knees in open matches/countering which is important as shite against teams that have the balls to attack us.

he's still pretty effective
problem with leaving santi out is he's the only guy on our squad who can break down a packed in D, which is what we'll be seeing here on out. it's not optimal, but him out left, rosicky through the middle is the best combo we have.

I don't have enough time/dedication to watch soccer outside of Arsenal (often just one other PL match per weekend when not CFB season), but that has to be one of, if not the best, center half duos in the league right now. My inclination is that Kos is one of the most underrated players in the league as well, and I thought he had the best game out of anyone from either side today. Went against the best striking team in the Premiership (possibly Europe) and effectively shut them down.

Yeah I guess I should have clarified, Santi HAS to be on the pitch for bunker opponents. Tom just seems to help our flow better when he is central vs other good teams.

I think Kompany and Nastasic are tops but Per and Kos have as good an argument as any other to the second best partnership.
