According to the report, emails between former Penn State officials Tim Curley, Gary Schultz and Graham Spanier show the trio initially planned to tell authorities about the allegations against Sandusky, who was convicted on 45 of 48 charges against him last week.

I hope these bastards are uncomfortable now. This is going to get much uglier before it is all over. If this is true, PSU is doomed.

I've spent the last 20 years trying not to look directly at bright light and burn out my retinas with these telescopes I wear. Wait, what was that about rhythmic slapping?

The worse part is that they keep using the term "humane" in the emails....as in the "humane" thing to do is not report the incident. In other words, humane for Sandusky.

PSU better get the check book out. They're going to be writing some very big checks in the future.

Lawsuits won't cripple Penn State. All the donors that won't give anymore money to school because of this will cripple them.

I don't think we've heard the worst of all of this yet. Maybe they truly were running a brothel of young boys for their own sick pleasure and Sandusky was the front man.

Maybe they kept JoePa along all of those years because he would spill the beans if he was ever forced out earlier. This is a terrible situation for everyone involved.

that old piece of shite is almost as bad as Sandusky. If I were a Penn State student or alim I'd petition to have any statute or thing with his name on it removed.

Hopefully these sick fricks get stuck in prison with the general population so they can know first hand what it feels like when someone (the guard) looks the other way.

It is certainly going to get much uglier for these pieces of shite. They better enjoy their Independence Day this week because they won't enjoy next year's.

Penn State needs to be punished more than just lawsuits they'll definitely have to pay. I don't know what, but this was a scandal covered up by not just football coaches, but the entire university.

No one ever reported the 2001 shower incident. A decade later, a 2011 grand jury found no Pennsylvania law enforcement or child welfare agency was ever told.

"It was not only not humane to give Sandusky a pass, but inhumane towards young men who fell prey to him," said attorney Tom Kline, who represents Victim 5. About six months after the February 2001 incident witnessed by McQueary, Victim 5 was molested.

In an exchange of messages from February 26-28, 2001, Spanier allegedly acknowledges Penn State could be "vulnerable" for not reporting the incident, according to two sources with knowledge of the case.

"The only downside for us is if the message (to Sandusky) isn't 'heard' and acted upon, and we then become vulnerable for not having reported it," Spanier purportedly writes.
