Almost 9 months later and I'm still not over it. Does anyone think the show can be as interesting without Michael Pitt/Jimmy

After nicky shot him the first time. I told my gf he could still live. Right after I said that Nucky plugged him again

I have no doubt that they will be able to keep the show interesting with Jimmy. He sort of ran his course and it will be good to move on to some other characters and see where that takes us. I just hope we continue to see Richard.

I hope it still on par with season 2 (a tall order) every scene in season 2 was great but was at its best when jimmy was on camera. Im still wondering though, is Nucky the antagonist of the series now?

Absolutely. You have some great actors playing guys like Rothstein, Lansky, Capone and Luciano. Same with Nucky's Irish bodyguard and Chalky. Jimmy's right hand Harrow. I love Michael Pitt and his character, Jimmy, but he had pretty well painted himself into a corner with what all had gone down. Plenty of talent there to push the show forward.

Capone

This is going to be the big plot stealer over the next couple seasons. Capone will seek revenge for Jimmy's death. Also, Jimmy's son will most likely be older and start to come on strong. Should be good im excited!

I'm still recovering from Jimmy's death. Hated it then and hate it now.

The kid is like 7. Unless they decide to time jump 10 years I wouldn't be expecting a gripping storyline with him.

I'm not over it either!
I liked him except for the icky stuff with his demented mother.
I think it'll definitely still be interesting. can't wait!!

My least favorite character. I'm glad he's gone.

Once he got hooked on the heroin, I figured he was NOT coming to a good end. I think the dynamic between his wife and Richard is pretty interesting...maybe she could make a play for Jimmy's spot with Richard behind her?

Jimmy's wife had her brains blown out already. I think you mean his mom.
