I'm a man of wealth and taste. Except I don't have any wealth. Or taste. Never mind.
Who I am is the new Sports Director at KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, starting July 2. Yeah, we got cameras and everything, it's really great!
I used to work in Austin and I got tons and tons of great story ideas and a few scoops from Hornfans and later Shaggybevo. I am hoping TigerDroppings is also awesome for that purpose.
So I'll be lurking and posting here, and y'all can feel free to let me know about anything you think might make a good story. LSU, Saints, McNeese, high school stuff in SW Louisiana, wet thong contests, you name it. And if you're in Lake Charles, I'm always available for someone to buy me a beer.
Or, you can tell me to GTFO or whatever acronym the kids are using now.

Welcome aboard Drew. Cover Lolo Jones in the Womens 100m hurdles in London next month. She is a great athlete & a great ambassador to LSU. Her life story is absolutely amazing. Not many homeless kids turn out to be Olympic athletes & potential champions.
