Need help with a movie title

I have been racking my brain for about a year trying to remember the name of this stupid movie.
There was some ridiculously dumb movie that I remember watching on HBO when I was younger - probably mid-80's. It was comedy about 2 hit-men who pose as pest control men and a married (or soon-to-be-married) couple that are running from them. It was a VERY low-budget film set in NYC.
The two hit-man are a little skinny, weaselly guy and a big, gruff guy who basically grunts and screams a lot.
I remember the van that the hit-men rode around in had a big rat on the roof.
By no means if this a good movie, but it has been driving me nuts trying to remember the name.
TIA to anyone who can solve this one. It's been bugging me for a while.
