The Rangers are 45-28(.616)
They have a run differential of +95, with the closest being the Cardinals at +67.
They have the most runs scored at 386, the highest team batting average at .282, the 6th best era at 3.55, 9th in quality starts with 41, and 2nd in WHIP at 1.20.
With a banged up pitching staff that should be healthy after the break, there's no reason why they shouldn't have the best record in at least the AL and possibly the league when it's all said and done.

My question to the MSB is, who presents the biggest threat to a championship in October, besides the team itself.

Does Ron Washington count as part of the team? If not he may be the biggest threat to them not making the World Series (that they'd probably lose anyway)

I have been on that train since he arrived in Arlington. The team has succeeded despite him, not because of him

Angels

uh sorry yankees pole smokers, that team isn't a threat when they rely way too much on homers only to win

Angels..... I believe they have a better record since Hatcher was fired/Trout called up. Their pitching is outstanding and if Pujols continues to hit they can be just as dangerous with Trout, Trumbo, Morales, Pujols

When is the division decided again?

Angels mailed it in for the first 6 weeks of the season and are only 5 games back. I like where the Angela are moving forward.

I'll let you resume with your Rangertard FAP session, sorry for disturbing.

I'm here!

Well, the Rangers have mailed it in the last month and a half to the tune of .500 ball and are only 5 games up....the largest of any division in baseball.

Your move.

Yep, from May 1st to June 7th the Rangers were 16-19 including 14-14 overall for May. Just for comparison, they are 14-8 so far for June and were 17-6 for April.

Thats what I've always said.

Still think the Rangers finish with around a 4-5 game lead.
