Why can't we have civil, non soccer related discussion on the SB?

Seriously, LNST and other nonsense getting whacked is BS. The people in the OT treat us like crap, so where is the crime in sticking to our own?

This X1,000. The man buys people beer, in person, and seems like an all around awesome guy. I have no doubt that he's more qualified to patrol this board than most others.
The admin never admits who he is, so it's probably some dude from the OT who calls us figs and gets his rocks off when he whacks OT worthy threads from the SB.
Going back to the OP:
This aspect of TD really bothers me. I feel like the SB is a real community, obviously tied together by our love of soccer. Why can't we discuss something other than soccer? It doesn't make much sense.

yeah, i had written out the entire story about my fight in the indoor game only to be rejected when i tried to post.
this asian guy had been grabbing my balls (literally) all game. at some point, i had enough and just instinctively turned and busted him right in the chin. everyone charged the field. nothing else happened, but i got a 5 minute penalty. his mom was in the stands for the game and as i left she was shouting obscenities at me in broken english. pretty funny stuff.

OG, that story was awesome. Even though this thread now has some soccer to it, I'm still waiting for it to get whacked.

Me too. The only other board I post on is the MSB and that board could fall off the face of the earth and I wouldn't care.

I follow the Rant because I bleed LSU. But I avoid posting like the plague. The way these people follow recruiting should be on trial with Sandusky. MSB is fine.

Unfortunately I was out of the country for the WC. So I didn't see this board until after. Ever since then, it's the only one I check daily. My daily post count has increased tenfold and at least 50% of my posts are from Saturday/Sunday SB game threads.
