FSU pitching already has over 100 pitches in only 4 innings.

It is hard to say that FSU is FSUing when they are losing to a really good team after winning 2 CWS games already

I hear ya, however IDK 10-1 in 4 innings sure is FSU-ing if you ask me..

But I agree Arizona has been tearing the ball up since the regionals.

I didn't think we had the pitching to win the whole thing, but the showing today has been terrible.

For the record, still a lot of baseball left, but I don't think the Noles advance to the final.

Absolutely.. Arizona is very prone to give up just as many runs.

Nope. You'd only be an a-hole if you weren't enjoying it.

0-22...that's an Elite level of coming up short. Is any other program/team close to that number in any sport? Virginia Tech vs top 5 teams is all that comes to mind.

In any sport, I can't say. That is a long time of success without winning it all. However, a stat was shown during the last FSU game of current streaks of making it to Omaha without wining it all, and I think there was a team in double digits, maybe 12? But, it was probably over a longer period than the Noles.

The next closest is Clemson with 12 (1958, 1959, 1976, 1977, 1980, 1991, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2002, 2006, 2010).

Thanks! Couldn't remember, but looks like I was half-remembering correctly.

USC has won it 12x, twice as many as LSU and Texas. That's crazy.

Almost a carbon copy of UCLA basketball. Dominant in the 60/70's, only 1 "modern" championship (1980's or later).
