If mettenberger has a good year and gets drafted.....

Who will win the starting QB job next year?? I was high on rivers until i seen hayden. I believe Hayden wins the job as a redshirt freshman if he sticks with his committment to LSU.

hayden will be a true freshman next season. Doubt he gets the nod over the older guys.

I would love Hayden to come in and get a chance to start for three years. I think he has a chance to be a very good QB for us.

He's already on scouts draft board for next year and its expected a good season at LSU could land him up near the first/second round.

I'd have to think Rivers at this point, although the limited film I've seen of Randall looks promising. Kid has a powerful arm, just not that accurate.

I hope he has a decent year to win a title this year. Then go nuts next year to repeat and be the top QB pick in the draft.

I really love this. Can you people just stay off of your soap box and just let people have these conversations? What we say or do has no affect on what this team in the coming season. Don't sweat "worrying about this year". I'm sure it's covered.

He won't be a redshirt freshman. He won't win the job as a true freshman either.
