Does it concern anyone else that we practice in such a crap facility?

When we take these players out to the Alario Center, do we helicopter them in? That has got to be one of the worst drives in America (it's on the way to the dump, streets trashed, etc).

With AD23 I guess it doesn't matter, because we're taking him and he's stuck, but we're not exactly putting forward NOLA's best foot.

Can we seriously not work these guys out at the arena?

Its a fair point. I don't think it makes a difference for the draft. But as a free agent, I sure as hell wouldn't sign with a team whose practice facility is a frickin glorified high school gym. Hopefully the new practice facility happens sooner rather than later. shite, roll out a basketball court at in the saints indoor practice facility. Better than that shithole on the westbank. The fact that its on the west bank is a problem in and of itself.

Don't worry about it bro. We give them a tour of the saints facility afterwards.

Truth. For outsiders particularly, the West bank is not the "best bank"

That seems like a fair alternative, but maybe they have camera equipment and other analysis tools set up at the Alario center that would be difficult to duplicate at the Arena since they'd have to break the equipment down and set it back up each time. The good news is that the new ownership/lease deal will lead to a new practice facility.

I'd be willing to bet out practice facilites are not the worst in the league; also dont think they are in the worst area either.

The Hornets are not the only peeps that use the arena. I went to a charity party there a couple of weeks ago. There are concerts there and what not. Im sure they could still use the arena for workouts but that would most likely cost them more money. Plus, Benson has stated his want for a state of the are facility multiple times and probably uses it as a recruiting technique to new guys.

It's not as easy to use the Arena as it may seem. There are other events and activities taking place in the facility from time to time.

And the team is virtually guaranteed a new practice facility within the near future. If it's a real concern, I'm sure they'll let the players know that it's coming.

Several players that have been in for workouts, including Austin Rivers, have commented on a new practice facility in the works. So, they were told about it.

Austin, Anthony, welcome to Westwego. This is where you'll practice the next couple years but its aight because you can hit Mo's. What is Mo's? The best pizza in Louisiana probably. Not to mention you can buy fresh shrimp right here at the shrimp lot. Its a cultural bastion.

Have you even been to the Alario Center?

It's not a crap facility. It's barely 10 years old.

And no one visiting has any idea about the Westbank and what it represents.

I'm sure we told AD that we're getting a new facility ASAP. He even toured the Saints facility so he saw that we'll get more or less.

It's basically the Oakland to New Orleans' San Francisco, only with way less charm, attractive people, and economic impact than Oakland provides the Bay Area.

I've been countless times and it is a crap facility. And by professional sports standards it is a super crap facility. And considering it's location and surroundings, it's a horrible facility.

I wouldn't be surprised if Benson has preliminary plans and renderings done. Even if he doesn't, players coming in can see that the Saints facilities are top notch and Benson will make sure that the Hornets have the same level of facility.

Y'all make it out to be shite. It's really not that bad. I'm happy they will get a new facility but it's not that bad.

I guarantee you that UK, UF, Duke, etc have nicer facilities than the Alario Center.

It would be like if you're a good high school player and the college that's recruiting you has facilities that aren't as nice as your high school.

At least it will finally be addressed though that's the main point.
