i'm going to be trying to buy saints vs redskins tickets for opening day of the regular season.. i've been looking on stubhub and the tickets are really pricey... when would be the best time to buy tickets? i'd expect the price to get higher and higher as the game gets closer, is that a correct assumption? also, if not here, would stubhub be the best place to get them??

I'd wait it out till closer to the game. That is when people who have no intention of going to the game will drop the prices

Absolutely. The best time is Sunday morning you can get on stubhub and buy them real cheap or outside the stadium. With stubhub you can obviously select where you want to seat before leaving the house.

thanks purpleleaf, i'll take this into consideration when buying tickets.. i'm going to be torn between either buying tickets before leaving the house in the morning (i live 15 min away from the superdome w/ no traffic) or trying to buy them outside the stadium.. i might just go with the sure thing and order off of stubhub.. this game should be intense, don't want to miss it

don't buy them outside the stadium. good chance you'll get ripped off.
I'm a season ticket holder and my best advice is to get on the NFL ticket exchange on nfl.com and buy them the night before or morning of.
