You're in for a treat.
Saw them in '84 for the Powerslave tour. Amazing concert. Had my hand on a Nicko McBrain drumstick for about 5 seconds.

From what I see on Palladium etc, they haven't lost a step at all.

I'll be there. Alice Cooper is the opening act so it should be interesting.

Going. Saw them numerous times, Cooper once. Great all around.

Stop in Tuscaloosa for Dreamland (south of the interstate) for a treat if you are driving.

Hopefully they have a good setlist. Saw them in Chicago two years ago with Dream Theater and they only played three pre-2000s songs. Great energy and show but the setlist was awful. Love Maiden but they need to stick with the old stuff.

Checking in from the show.

Left the seats for a spot by the wall.

I have to admit I didn't like them in the 80's. I didn't know much about them. But now after seeing their live shows on Palladia, (very talented) plus the lead singer piloting their plane all over the world.

Great band. Great shows. Great story.

Bruce's solo stuff is worth a whirl.

Saw them numerous times starting in '83. Fantastic live shows. Caught them again last year and they're still unbelievable. Like an earlier poster said, played mostly songs from Brave New World CD and afterwards, but still kicked arse. You're in for a treat.

Saw them in Charlotte for the opening date.

The story I tell when people ask about it is this.

As I was leaving this obviously drunk redneck was walking around talking to random people as they were leaving. He came up to me and in the most Southern voice asked "did you enjoy it?" I replied "yeah of course" and he said "You know, I've been to hundreds of shows, and I ain't even an Iron Maiden fan but that shite was frickin' epic!"

I've been checking out the recent set lists and they look awesome. 5 of 17 songs off of Seventh Son - that's pretty good. Don't come any closer to here than Houston though. I'm pretty pissed my show was screwed with an awful set list. This tour looks great - Coheed are good performers too.

Setlist? I'd love to see a Maiden show. One of the bigger bands I haven't seen actually.
