At worst they both finish tied for fifth. What could have been if Peterson doesn't make double on 16

Proud of both of them.

Ex-Tulane golfer Thompson didn't do too bad either.

Good week for golfers with LA ties.

I believe T5 or better gets him into the Masters and T10 gets into the US Open next year. That is huge for a guy just starting his pro career - not to mention the nice paycheck of ~$150k+

OT ballers are laughing that it took him 4 days to make this.

It's huge for both but it took Toms 20+ years to get a top 5 finish at the US open. Peterson is going to be a star soon. Huge day for him. Congrats to both.

Toms was qualified before this weekend, not sure about Peterson. Unfortunately, I don't think toms generally plays well over there. Can't blame the guy though, who doesn't like playing on dead grass?

they both played better today.

That weather is why i moved from that part of the bay area.

That fog would be rolling in all the time and it was cold and the wind whipping outside in the middle of the day in July.

Go 2 miles farther inland and it would be a sunny day.

got tired of never having a nice day so moved. me and my wife were renting a house then.

They were lucky to not have the marine layer more than the last day.

If you ever see SF Giants games they can get really bad fog sometimes too at night.

congrats to david and john. got to see them together on saturday for 4 or 5 holes.
