You think the Hornets would've moved from Charlotte if he hadnt been traded?
What if they moved even if he had stayed? What position would the franchise be in?

Don't think they would have moved had they kept Kobe simply because of his star appeal and marketability.

the only reason he was drafted by the hornets in the first place was that the lakers and hornets had agreed to the trade before the pick (divac to hornets and hornets picked kobe for the lakers). it was never intended for him to stay a hornet anyways

yea, but thats why I said hypothetical. and do you think the hornets f.o. wouldnt have gone for bryant if they werent obligated to divac (which i will never understand that trade)?
