Music Board Drummers: Crash combo input

I'm trying to decide on a good crash combo for my kit. I use Paiste 14" Signature Dark crisp hi-hats and a Paiste 2002 24" ride.
I was thinking possibly a Paiste 2002 18" full crash and a 17" thin crash.
Any ideas?

I use 18" and 17" Paiste Signature Mellow crashes because- to my ears- they possess the perfect blend of warmth and shimmer. I had a 17" Signature Full crash and it was too bright for me.
Unfortunately, they no longer make the Mellow in a 17", but I bet a 16" wouldn't be bad, as long as you're not hitting too heavy. I highly recommend checking into the Signature Mellow crashes...

Since you use a 24" ride, I'd look into bigger crashes. Maybe 19" or 20". Check out the paste giant beats, which bonham used. That's if you like that bombastic sound. I think bonham used the ride you have too.

This for sure. I like having at least one 20" Crash in my kit all the time.
