He lists players who he thinks has star potential, kind of a boom/bust article.

Star potential:

AD
Beal
MKG
Lamb
Barnes

Six Prospects with Tools but more Questions:

Sullinger
Royce White (sorry Jeff D.)
Drummond
PJ3
Leonard
Rivers

A lot this article is pretty self-explanitory.

Rivers is so good with the ball and has such an uncanny ability to get past defenders and get into the lane that I believe he will do very well in the NBA. He is quick with the ball and can get his own shot, and defenders have a tough time staying in front of him.

Put Rivers in the NBA, where the rules will benefit that skill, and you have an offensive weapon. Rivers is a good shooter but can still refine his perimeter shot, and he needs to be a more consistent handler and passer, but he is a willing defender and willingly takes on challenges. Some have questions about his demeanor or "cockiness," but I don't. Rivers competes and will be very good in the NBA.

Glad we got the 1st pick!

No, I think T-Rob is going to be a very serviceable big, but wont be a star.....yet he wont be a bust either.

I still think with Gordon's questionable health and contract situation that Rivers is the way to go. He can play the 1 or 2 so he can be Jack's and Gordon's reserve and if either go down he can step up.

I don't think EG has health problems. I believe the games he missed had a lot to do with tanking.

I don't think EG has health problems. The games he missed was part of tanking. It worked we getting great player in A. Davis. Hornets will match any offer EG gets. If they don't they got nothing from cp trade.

Rivers is really not that good and will be a bench player his whole career.

He played in just nine games this season because of knee and back injuries. In 2010-11, Gordon missed 26 of the Los Angeles Clippers' 82 games because of a slow healing wrist injury. In 2009-10, Gordon missed 20 games because of a groin and viral infection.

Gordon misses a bunch of games. And whether or not River will be that good - I'd put money that he is better (and cheaper) than Belinelli

Explain. Cuz being a bench player could mean he turns out like James Harden....

Sullinger is very polished offensively for a big guy but he has ALOT of trouble with length guarding him.

Perry Jones has the tools to be great if he had some good coaching and motivation. He probably has as much or more skill than anyone in the draft.

TRobinson may grab a few boards,he is a whiner, yes he avg 17 points a game, but needed alot of shots to get it. He is <6-9 in shoes,I wouldn't want him as a high lotto pick, maybe an energy off the bench guy.

Barnes? Great shot but he can't createe his own off the dribble.
Terrence Jones had maturity problems but certainly grew up, He is 6'9 1/2 and over 250. Not being too much of a homer, but if the #10 is'nt traded I would as soon have him. Give AD a little comfort zone with familiarity.

Rivers was so damned selfish, but I guess that was understandable with his tough upbringings he whined about.... He will do ok, but not a lotto pick, perhaps if he stayed another year he would have been worthy.

It's a steaming pile of shite, though. I used to get Insider/ESPN the Magazine about 5 or 6 years back since I got a great deal (like $10 or something for the year). Was expecting the magazine to be decent crapper material, but after a few months it would go straight into the trash. Insider was only slightly better.
