Doubt anything is set in stone. Until a replacement is found, Javi won't be fired.

They'll announce Javi has accepted a position as hitting coach at Millsaps or something, and then two days later announce the new hire.

.....Hopefully

Even though we all want him gone we all know PM's buddy isn't going anywhere. Hopefully won't turn into PM's Lou Tepper

I think we are stupid enough to keep him, but even if not, there wouldn't be news this soon. They would get his replacement in order, and then get rid of him. Until then it will be all, "we love Javi and are committed to him".

The fans wanted John Brady and Gary Crowton gone, yet the guys had resumees.

Javi has nothing except he's good buddies with PM

It seems inevitable that this is where things are heading.......the improvement better be significant next year or the fire under PM will be pretty intense.

I hear augie was thinking about bringing him in as hitting coach. Wouldn't make much sense for either party tho...
