The last inning of the First Game

was the first inning of the day. I know the situation was unique, and perhaps Jones dosent get the int walk, but the way we came out of the gate- damn. I can't remember the last time we looked like that in the first inning.
Frikin bad arse. Play that whole inning out, we may have put 1 or 2 more runs.
I mean i know there was a powerful urge to win that game, and do it fast, and i am so happy we did. But we still had to execute.
We come out like that tomorrow- dominate early and get the lead- we take this one if our pitching is solid.

That was a terrible decision imo... I get you are trying to set up the DP ball, but you intentionally walk Jones to get to the best 2 hitters in LSU's line up?

That's exactly what I said, not sure why they walked him.
But all excuses aside, I really do think the rain hurt us. As soon as it started Gausman was off and they took advantage right away. If its clear I have to like our chances tomorrow

Well, i couldnt watch or listen to that game, guess i should have read the box score.
