lol and 247 has us at #7. Since Jennings was a 3* our average has dropped below 90 now but yet his announcement was a big enough deal to put on the front page

I think lsu has a ton of guys that will get a bump once fully evaluated on 247, like Kyrion Parker, Jennings, Rettig, and Lawson. Also, lsu is 10 on scout and 4 of our players aren't rated yet.

I pay more attention to 247 and scout whether positive or negative. It's hypocritical to dismiss rivals last year when they rated us ridiculously low and then dismiss the others this year because they rank us lower than rivals this year. Fact is, rivals has gone down a lot in quality in the last couple of years. Still way ahead of ESPN though.

I think 247 does a great job for a relatively new site, but how are you going to rate Retting as a 88 because of an injury when Tenpenny also missed time and is still a 96?
IMO: Rivals is/has been my primary recruiting site, and I NEVER dismissed our 18th finish last year. We lost our "top end" talent and that is undeniable (I don't really want to get into this and spoil the fun we are currently having).

Rivals doesn't evaluate LA anywhere near the way 247/scout(did).
If you want an accurate rating on LA recruits, it's on 247

247 also continually reevaluates its players and lists constantly. There will be many more iterations than the painfully slow processes of Scout and Rivals.
Give them enough time to process and Eval and you'll see changes if and when necessary.

Now that Shea Dixon and Sonny Shipp are at 24/7 sports, they will likely have the best LSU recruiting site. Sike seemed to be disinterested in the whole recruiting thing. If I start paying for a site again, it will be 24/7.
