I just changed the lie angle on my new Mizuno irons...What a difference!

Wow. I never adjusted my previous irons. I'm 5'8" and have always played a standard lie. I got them adjusted 1.5degrees flat.
I only hit them at the range, but I could tell a huge difference. I hit the ball with a little lower trajectory at launch, can work the ball right to left more consistent, and am hitting longer.
I strongly suggest to everyone to get their clubs fitted.
2 Rounds tomorrow. I will report back if I play any better than average.

A guy who buys them used on Ebay and not from a shop.
ETA: With the intention of getting them fitted once in hand.

How much does this cost to have the angle adjusted?

Thanks i never realized it was that cheap. always knew it was possible. I guess i'm an idiot for never checking into it further.
I'm assuming you can bring your clubs there and hit there for them to determine how to adjust? isnt it done with some tape on the bottom of the club?

I'm 5'9" and have my Titleist bent a degree flat. It does indeed make a huge difference and is pretty cheap to get done

Yes, they put tape on the sole and you hit a ball off a board
It's very quick and easy

Mine was 3* flat last year. Gonna need to get them checked again after making some swing changes.
