Just getting the boards thoughts on this one.

TBH, it's become one of my favorite comedies over the last 5 years.

quote:

I know why you are here, so don't BS a BSer, Ok? Your "Presence" here, court ordered.

Why did you put presence in quotes? Are you implying that we aren't here?

Love the relationship between Rudd and Scott.

Jane Lynch puts it over the top for me though.

Love this movie.

Ronnie is funny, but WAY overdoes it at times.

It's a very good comedy, no doubt. Some solid quotes in it as well.

Agreed, but it doesn't bother me that much. The only part that irks me is the Chipmunk restaurant scene. It wasn't needed or they could have toned it down a bit.

"While I have you in my personal space here...." is one I've used a few times.

Rudd's scene with the LARPers in the restaurant was great.

school boy: Hey nice cow outfit. Where can I pick one of those up at, the gay zoo? Homo.
Danny: No, no. It's not a cow. It's a a minotaur. It's a creature of myth. And he got this one out of your mom's closet.
Wheeler: She let me keep it after I fricked her.

I liked it. I thought it was pretty funny. I love how Banks nails him for being a pompus arse when he is trying to get onto Starbuck's drinkers for being the same way.

And I agree that the little black kid wasn't as funny as the larper.

I still get a giddy whenever a veteran of The State shows up in something in a bit role. Ken Marino is hysterical as the stepdad.

One of the few movies that had a line that genuinely shocked me, “It’s okay. I’m VERY pro-choice.” Abortion usually isn’t played for laughs.

One of the best exchanges in the movie.

You know what I used to have for breakfast? Cocaine.
You know what I used to eat for lunch? Cocaine.

Wheeler: What'd you have for dinner?

Rudd: Was it cocaine?
