I saw them this weekend at Bridgefest in Bay St. Louis on Saturday night and they put on one hell of a show.

I really dig their Southern "jam/funk/soul/rock" band sound.

Since I've recently started listening to them, I think my favorite album of their's is Georgia Warhorse.

We cheered until they played an encore (like they really didn't know if they were or not). Like all great bands live, they effing rocked the encore. It was a really great show.

Yep. You should be considered a Communist if you don't like their music or have a hell of a time at their shows.

It's so easy to have the opportunity to see these guys. They are everywhere I go and always playing somewhere close by. Shows are cheap and they do big festivals as well. I have seen them a lot. I think my friend just booked them for his wedding reception that I am actually in so I figure I might get to know them a little bit next year.

I love JJ grey & mofro and love introducing them to people. They just did about 10 or do shows where The Revivalist opened up for them. That would have been killer! It seems like mofro never stop touring either which is cool cause you can catch them at spring and summer festivals and at var & clubs in the fall & winter.
