starting new topics - glitch, maybe?

If you are reading one board and aren't logged in and you click on the "Start New Topic" link, the site redirects you to the "you must be logged in to start new topics..." screen.
If you follow the "Log In" link from that screen it sends you to the log in page where you enter your username and password.
On several occasions, once I logged in, the site sent me immediately back to the "Start New Topic" screen with blank "Subject" and "Message" fields.
Unfortunately, the new topic gets started on the Tiger Rant board by default instead of the board that I was originally viewing and intended to post on.
