Man assaulted in Dodger Stadium parking lot

A man who apparently caused a minor car collision in the Dodger Stadium parking lot Sunday night was pulled out of his car and assaulted, police said.

Police said the assault took place after the game sometime before 9 p.m. The man was pulled from his car by at least one suspect and suffered head and facial injuries, none of which were life threatening, police said.

The victim was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center for treatment. A woman who was eight months pregnant was with the victim. She was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

Four people were detained for questioning, police said. However, it was unclear whether any of them was facing charges.
