Great team win, but man is Cotton got ice in his veins. He has no fear and looked like he loved the moment. He has that extra confidence in his stuff.

Cotton is no Glavine...calling him Glavine Jr is just ridiculous.

I love him...but lets not get carried away

Alan Dunn deserves HUGE props for the development of this pitching staff.

Especially the role players like Cotton, Bourgeois, and Bonvillian.

If Eades can pitch like he did today, this team will be very tough to beat in a 3-game series.

Yep, either Eades or Nola is going to have to step it up going forward. A team can ride two arms all the way to omaha but its tough to get there with just one consistent starter.

Let's enjoy him while we can. He'll be the HC at Alabama next season.

I've honestly been cheering for Bama because we all know this is just inevitable.

He's been great at least for this one year.

of course he's no Glavine, he wouldn't be at LSU if he were...which is why I added the "jr", I started to say Glavine Lite. However, tactically he pitches the way Glavine pitched, and he's successful for the same basic reasons Glavine was...albeit at different levels.

The SO/BB ratio on our primary pitchers is unbelievable.

He has missed a lot of bats the last two weeks. One hot pitcher...

This is why i love LSU. When you can get a kid that had other options to play baseball was not recruited by LSU and just showed up on LSU's door step and walked on. Two years later he is the winning pitcher in the most important game of the season so far, and helps his team win the out right SEC Championship. That is why LSU is great got to love our Louisiana boys who play for the purple and gold

No he won't. They'll buy a guy that's already a HC somewhere. They won't spend money on a guy that has no track record. Why would they hire Dunn when the money they can offer could bring in Schlossnagle, McDonald or Childress?

I think most of us understood that you were not implying that Chris Cotton was going to become the "actual" next Tom Glavine. I happen to agree that Cotton goes about his business "like" Glavine using location and changing speeds while setting up hitters extremely well.
