What if we are the Spirit Fingers with awesome color combos going on vs a bad arse name like the Brass or Pelicans or whatever is your favorite but the colors scheme is horrendous.

name is more important, you can always change your color scheme. can't change a name every 5 years.
with that said if the name is a 5/10, the bad reactions will fade quicker if the logos/uniforms are cool

you could easily apply that logic reversely.
but yes, name is far more important than how the uniforms look.

It's more about the name to me.
But I honestly don't really care what the name is as long as that team stays in New Orleans. My level of support won't change because of a crappy team name.

They have a team named the Nets and nobody gives a damn. That's one of the most basic names ever besides "basketballs." As much as I want a great name it'll fade quickly into normal. Now MKG, Unibrow, T-Rob, & EG10 are some guys who wont fade quickly (hopefully).

Name is more important than anything else to do with rebrand. I feel that we can draw some new fans in if we have a cool name, or run some half way fans off with a bad one. I won't go anywhere, but I feel like its true.

Now what happens when you have good artwork but are saddled with a bad color combo? Anyone care for one of these more than the other?
vs.
The red's not quite as crisp because I did it quick and dirty in photoshop. I'm sure the original designer could do a better version in a different scheme.
