That's pretty awesome. Hopefully it's just another rallying cry for the season. Then when he comes back next season he'll be he'll bent on repeating what we were able to do while he was out

No Payton talks and thinks about the Saints in his sleep and Loomis, Vitt et al, can listen to him nap and "pick" his brain when he speaks.

So he can talk to himself all day long about what he would do if he were coaching. I'm sure they got him an office next to a vent that will carry his voice to an intern.
If they had to go to the league for approval and got approved it makes me wonder if Goodell isn't privately trying to make up for railroading the Saints. He can't reduce the penalties but he can turn a blind eye to Payton secretly consulting with the team.
