It would be fancy to have a counter on how many views each thread receives .

That way we would know if we are really helping people with our post, or if we are just losers.

Maybe when he was on the ESPN boards back i'n the day. But I don't think here.
ETA: I could be wrong though. This place supposedly has many layers that I will never know.

In theory, this is what liking posts was supposed to do.
If people used the likes, then that post was to get featured on the first page as the most liked/viewed.

if you post a pic from your photobucket account I think you can see how many times it is viewed in the account, not really what we are looking for but just an FYI.
